Oil Gang Pone is an artist with a sound that exemplifies the streets and his culture. Stemming from Hartford Connecticut, Pone spent most of his life surrounded by music and taking in sounds from all genres. His musical journey began at the early age of 8 when he would overhear his mom's boyfriend rapping around the house and it instantly sparked his imagination and creativity. Over the years he has been able to use the influences he has garnered from his upbringing and musical experiences to create a sound that is all his own. The main objective of his music is for his fans to walk away from the listening experience feeling more optimistic about life and the hurdles they may face. Pone has been through several battles in his life, none more challenging than the time he had to spend in prison and his saving grace was music. To date, he has garnered a core following from releasing several singles is currently set to release his first full-length project in 2020. Oil Gang Pone is set to take his music to the highest level possible and create a generation of prosperity for his family and community.
